My OS for Roadside Assistance

So I have finally completed wiring a secondary fuse block to run extra accessories for roadside assistance.

I had a hard time finally getting my power supply inside the vehicle but once I got that, the rest came pretty easy. I put my fuse block on top of the XM receiver so I can have it out of sight, but also accessible to change fuses if needed. Currently I have a circuit for a 12v plug behind my rear view mirror for my GPS which is set to a toggle switch. I have another 12v plug in between my driver seat and the panel covering the seat belt strap. This is also connected to a toggle and it is used to power the mini LED bar on top. I have a 12v air compresser hard wired in. I made the plug that is under the radio, constant out instead of alternating with the key. And Last I added a control box for LED strobes to make me more visible on the side of the road.

I started this thread because it lacked so much information I was looking for when I started this project. I have put 10k miles on this in 4 months and it has been ripped apart inside for 9k miles. So I can see if you guys have any questions in case you considered adding additional lines to your OS. Hope you enjoy!

@Randy,
Hey great work on the electrical mods!

Two things I would suggest -
1. Consider getting a larger battery. The additional loads to your electric system will strain your stock (expensive) alternator**.
2. FYI - under Texas law, I believe you can't have (flashing) color lights other than YELLOW on service vehicles. You Don't want to get $250-$300 citation for helping stranded drivers...

**Our alternators have Re-Gen circuitry and costs a cool $1,500 each. Just a friendly heads up.
