Yeah, this is what I have found also. I just want a simple spacer unfortunately. I don't need a full coil over system

I've got a 2015 OS and 2016 Compass FWD in my driveway. Let know if anybody want a specific picture comparison between the two "siblings"

I was under the OS yesterday checking some things out. I had a buddy that ran these in his Subaru for years to lift it during winter months. He drilled tiny holes around it and wire wrapped them to the coil spring also to keep them in place and super tight. Not once did they fall out and he got around a 1" lift. Was thinking about trying these in our OS along with some wheel spacers soon. As you can see, when the car is jacked up there is more than enough roof to stuff one of these in. If you can get it in higher up also, the coil sits in that "Channel" inside the body work which also might help keep the booster aligned and stationed into the coil spring. Worth a shot I think, hopefully someone will give us an actual kit someday!!

Saw someone post this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-Lift-Ki...mtr&rmvSB=true

and this https://www.spaccer.com/en_US/makes-...bishi/asx.html

Hopefully a proper lift kit will come out.. The Compass and caliber hardly have anyone lifting them either. I see the OS raced for Rally and different types of racing. I want to see if a team has an old Long travel they could sell.

You can see the suspension with this video. It is of course all custom. But maybe we can get something out of it. I see some stuff I could possibly work with but I would need the help of my friend who is very savvy with these sort of things. Maybe someone will come along and figure something out.

Yea that would be great, the lift on that rally one is exactly what I want. You will have to also consider longer brake lines and possible abs/speed sensor lines too.

What to do for a proper lift without stressing the suspension?

Motor Mount Risers
Frame Risers
Coilovers or Springs and struts that extend enough for the lift.

]Things to look out for:

Steering Rack and Carrier Bearing. They would possibly need adjusting to the new height.

Hoses, wires and brakes might need to be re-routed or extended.

I think that is all. Let me know if I missed something.

You can probably get away with a good coil-over/spacer lift. I think if you are only running FWD than you should be ok on the Rack, Pinion angles. To be honest, I am not 100% sure how the AWD systems work on the ASX. On my Nissan Xterra I have a 3" lift and had to run spacers in the rear to get the angle of the driveshaft/final drive area back in align. It looks like from being under the ASX, the brake lines shouldn't be too much of an issue. They already mount onto the body of the coil over area with movement available. Definitely will have to get an alignment when completed.

The outlander phev has MacPherson front and multi link rear just like other outlanders and the outlander sport... The ability is there... but there is no information on the exact parts for the suspension...

"Tein competition dampers, beefed-up suspension and generously sidewalled Falken Wildpeak 235/85 R16 tyres give the one-off Outlander PHEV a more imposing, high-rise stance than the production version."

I wish more information was on this then we could get links out for parts. Or find something similar, cause Tein is pricey!

Awesome video! Thanks for sharing. I think it'd be rad, pairing those lift springs with these 40mm coil spacers! You will easily then have over a 2" lift, with some wheel spacers and some meaty AT tires....that would be SWEEEEEET

hell ya! we gettin somewhere! I think maybe camber during wheel alignment might be an issue. I am not sure but i am assuming this would work. http://www.coloradomountainrally.com...2007-2016.html
