sorta OT: easy car sealer for winter
as a sucker for care care products (i have SHELVES full of them), i was interested to try something i saw on another forum - CarPro HydrO2 Wipe-Less Silica Spray Sealant.
http://www.detailedimage.com/CarPro-...901/500-ml-S2/
its pricey, but works GREAT! wash car with regular cash wash soap (not Zip-wax type stuff) - i used Meguiar's Gold Class car shampoo. while car is still wet, spray the HydrO2 on a section at a time, and hose off. if you're ever seen how Rain-X makes the water run off a car, that's how it acts on the paint.
i've tried using my cordless blower to dry off my car before, but it didn't work out too well, and i just used it for getting water out of headlight/door/trunk creases. with the HydrO2, i blew the car completely dry in like 10 minutes. the water just flew off. just did the OS and the Evo. due to the cost, i'll probably seal them once before winter (supposedly lasts 3 months), then keep the rest for wheels. i hate waxing wheels, especially complicated multi-spoke ones.
i'd also recommend the eGo 56V cordless blower (Home Depot). one of my favorite tools - i get a lot of leaves in the fall. as powerful as a gas blower, charges fully in 45 minutes, and works good for drying cars, too.

i didn't research the MSDS data sheets for any of the car products i use, and they still work.
if Aliexpress sold this stuff, you wouldn't have a problem with it.
it gets good reviews, and i can confirm it works. i'd rather spend the extra 2-3 hours making OT at work than breaking my back waxing the car. my only hesitation was how long it lasts, but some say it can last longer than 3 months, depending on conditions. my car is always garaged at home and work, so i hope to get some extra life out of it.

I'm looking for a cordless electric brad nailer.
Any suggestions?

i love that thing - blow off the deck, go around do the front walkway, then the back driveway ... no dragging extension cords everywhere, no gasoline, etc.
cant help you there, mang - mine has a cord.

Can't beat these: http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-HY...890B/205929956 I have a ton of Ridgid products. Makita makes decent ones as well but not the same warranty.

really impressed with the HydrO2 - the paint on both cars looks like glass. after watching a Youtube video on it, i probably applied too much product. oh well, i know for next time.

That looks great! How much of that can did you use on just the OS? Not sure I can bring myself to spend that kind of money on car detailing at the moment... heck, my poor baby hasn't been washed in like 2 months at least

i bought it mainly for my black G37, because that will never see an automatic car wash (swirl mark city!). even if you only use it on wheels, its worth saving the time and sore back.

You can get a 100 ml (4 oz) bottle for about 12 bucks US here. They say that is enough for 2+ average cars (I presume that means two cars plus wheels). Not a totally insane price if it works and lasts as advertized. Funny thing though - I actually like washing and waxing the car(s). A couple of hours listening to tunes in the garage, maybe a wobbly pop close by...
