So I have a 2015 ES and I'm planning on buying the OEM Fog Light Accessory kit that comes with the factory accessory harness that plugs in on the core support in front of the radiator behind the bumper.
The part that I'm struggling to find information on is the fog light bezels that were standard on the SE model that came with the LED DRLs. I have been checking OEM parts fiche catalogs and can't find a second bezel or DRL of any kind listed for 2015 models. Does anyone happen to have the part numbers (left/right) for the bezels with LEDs?
I was hoping to utilize the factory wiring and harness if possible. I've seen plenty of aftermarket but was curious about tracking down the OEM bezels if possible.
my guess/assumption and by looking at the picture the module is integrated with the fog light wiring harness, and the module would control the DRL activation/give it low power when illuminated and communicate with the etacs ecu once it is enabled. if you go oem you would have to activate the drl through the etacs ecu
it would be more work and more costly to go oem route, since the drl housing is a pretty penny and you would have to go to the dealer or someone who has etacs ecu access to enable it. aftermarket is cheaper and easily replaceable and only 3 wires, positive/negative/and the wire to activate it which could be placed in the acc fuse spot in fuse box or wired to independent switch
