14 OS Battery Terminal Disintegrated
My positive battery terminal and attached fuses completely eroded. Anyone else run into this? Car only has 37k miles and all oil changes/maintenance were done on time at dealer. Dealer told me to pound sand.
Top of pic are what’s left of the positive terminal and fuses. Bottom are my replacement parts I purchased.

Now that's a first..
So the dealer is saying the corrosion destroyed the plastic too?
Looks more like the circuit/fuses blew and took the top portion of the plastic with it.
PS: so do you live near the Gulf? There does seem like quite abit of corrosion on the original post mount...

The fuse had to be destroyed to remove it. The bolts were welded to it because of the corrosion. This time around I got the felt anti-corrosion pads and spray. I live in western Texas where there is rarely any humidity.

I see..
Well, I'd would suggest you get a small 1oz tube of a copper based anti seize paste to use on the terminals/bolts, something like this >
instead of those silly felt pads. I've used them back in the 80's and they don't work!, waste of money.
