Tail Lights fit the 2017?

Tail Lights fit the 2017?
Hey guys new to the OS but loving it so far. Looking to get some new tail lights with the led strips but im really unsure if they will fit the 2017 variant. Says up to 2016 with is the same as 2017 but the connectors are completely different than what are on the car now. Why wouldn't?
The same tail light is used from 2010 (EU and AU) and from 2011 (US and Canada).
Before you buy you may want to read these posts as there will be a significant drop in light output:

Even if the connector is different all you need is a 12 V power supply and a multimeter to identify the wires and connect them accordingly. It is not a plug-and-play anyway, you will need to fish wires though the tailgate.
