2013 Outlander Sport Se CVT fluid
I wanted to get clarification on this 2013 OS transmission. Mitsu's website says it has the invecs -iii cvt sportronic. Which seems to be the same from 08-15. I ordered some Eneos fluid in as it came up as suitable. Im double checking now, and cant seem to find any real info specific to compatibility. Not sure what j-1 or j-4 means, as they are often listed together.
What I ordered:
CVT-N Fluid; 1 Quart Container; 12/case Equivalent to Nissan CVT-NS2 and -NS1; Mitsubishi Dia Queen CVTF-J1; Suzuki CVT Green 1
Material Safety Data Sheets: 3084 300_A4039-ENEOS-CVT-FLUID-E51EEN
Now on someones ebay listing, they list the following vehicles compatible:
Mitsubishi Lancer 2008-2015 with CVT Trans.
Mitsubishi Outlander 2007-2012 L4; 2.4L; with CVT Trans.
Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2011-2012 L4; 2.0L; with CVT Trans
Why did they stop being compatible after 2012? Is it really not compatible or did they just pick a year? Id love some feedback, as this isnt something I want to take chances with, but I thought the eneos was the oem fluid choice...seem to be mistaken.

The first generation used another CVT model type, while the newer ones use a more modern CVT (hence why 2012-2013 model years are bad rated for reliability due to this). I believe because of this the fluid did change slightly...but someone can answer better on here about that than me.
