Update pics. Finally back in WA. Snorkel is up and working, light bar kicks *** at night on the service roads. The new 235/75 All terrains are AMAZING! They soak up so much vibration and tackle just about anything. Next up 2" lift and rear tire carrier
Finally started the rear bumper!! I am building it off of the stock bumper bar which is capable of being bolted and re-mounted via 6 large bolts. I also fully welded the stock bumper bar and added bracing to support the added weight. I need to order a spindle hinge and wheel plate. Once done it will all be bed lined black and fitted with a matching spare wheel/tire setup. I also re worked the exhaust to a side exit a few inches behind the rear tire.
Awesome! it's turning out great! I think the guy from New York used the same snorkel kit. I think it is unnecessary too, but definitely adds to a cool look! And there are areas in Oregon and Washington that you might drive through where it will have a use. Man if i add my flares, we gonna be twinning hard HAHA especially when you get the lift. Cause it looks lifted now with the cut fenders Keep up the good work!

Thanks man! Did he post pics of his snorkel? I'll have to take a look. It definitely took some planning and figuring out how to mount it as there is not much room but it is legit and sounds wicked I think honestly by the time that snorkel would be used to its potential id be drowning in the cab haha. It is nice for dusty service roads. Man, add those flares! They really set the outlanders apart I think. Yeah, I can't wait to lift it! I think I am gonna order that Russian 40mm lift and give it a go. Its about $115 and should only take like 9 months to get here

Thanks mate! Really appreciate that! There is SO much room now for cargo and gear where the stock small spare is. Im thinking about making a storage area that has a cubby/slot area for recovery stuff and what not.

I ordered the 40mm lift kit today. They had it on Amazon and I paid a little extra for expedited shipping. $175 total. It says it will arrive between the Aug. 27-Spet. 5th so we shall see! I will run to auto zone and rent a spring compressor tool. Also ordered a new rear strut and front strut mount and bearing. Shouldn't be too difficult of a job, I am expecting a full day or so! I'll keep everyone updated!
