Yeah, Who ever that was.. better Pray real hard cause he/she just burned thru 8 of their nine lives with that insane stunt.

Just think IF anyone were to have pulled out of that parking lot as that idiot goes flying over those tracks, it would have been instant Game Over for those lucky souls..

This is a very good example why (based on common sense) the automotive industry should not produce passenger vehicles that have power, say above ~150 HP. Some of us just do not have adequate responsibility and proper judgement to realize how dangerous an act like the one depicted above is. Even one fatality caused by such irresponsible behavior is one too many. The temptation for this excessive speeding or acceleration would not be so high among such fellows if the cars would not be so powerful. I wonder how many OS owners are urged to floor the right pedal? I am guessing very few because the sensation you would get is far from exciting. Even ~150 HP is too much for the current speed limits (except for the German Autobahn, more on that a bit later). Remember the ultimate goal of the day in transportation is that everyone should get home safely irrespective of who is on the road (a self proclaimed genius, who thinks the laws of physics do not apply to him or a soccer mom with 6-7 kids in her minivan). Obviously, there is no common sense in producing cars with 300+ HP in our current world. The car can be a weapon and as such its power should be regulated as well to protect the society from morons.
Back to Autobahn speeds: I am not sure everyone knows that despite the lack of speed limit in some sections, there are recommended speed limits everywhere. If one exceeds the recommended speed limit he/she will be held responsible for a crash irrespective of whether he/she caused it and insurance companies may decline coverage as excessive speeding is irresponsible behavior.

Here is another proof to my point. Lamborghini Huracan crashing at 312 km/h (195 mph). The crash happened on a Hungarian freeway, which has a speed limit (80 mph). The video was released by the local police. The morons survived the act and no one else got injured. These cars should not get licence plates to participate in traffic. They should be taken to the track via flatbed trucks only.
