Looking for wheels for wife's 2013 SE
Hello, wife got a outlander sport about a month ago and was looking at getting some wheels for it. I like the look of the WedsSport titans but in a 20" wheel.

Evo X wheels. BBS or enkei are the way I'd Go. Lighter than stock better looking and better MPG.
|
I can't imagine the already under-powered Outlander Sport will like those big-ass rims... I agree with EMonz though, the EvoX or some nice aftermarket are the way to go.
Our wheel spec's are the same as TONS of other cars... stock is a 46mm offset, 5X114, 18X7 (or 16x6.5). |
Yeah I realize that it might be a little heavier but since this thing is more visual with the hid's, led's, etc. than for power I just wanted a better looking wheel than the fan blades. But I know a weds sport and a lot of the forged wheels are expensive so I'm not looking into buying wheels that are worth more than the car.
Some wheels I've been looking at, let me know what you think. http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...lDataID/171609 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...lDataID/160481 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...elDataID/88314 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...lDataID/171508 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...elDataID/67411 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...elDataID/85598 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...elDataID/65905 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...lDataID/139336 http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...lDataID/167281 Also, does anybody know where a wheel visualizer is that has a outlander sport? |
www.tirerack.com has an ok visualizer for wheels on the Outlander Sport.
|
Out of those you posted I only like these 3:

Any reason why 20's over 19's? I feel like 20's will look kinda goofy... Maybe 18's or 19's and the H&R Lowering Springs... THAT would look better IMO |

I think 20" wheels look good as long as they are the right style for it. Not mine by the way just searched google for images. |
oh ****... I was way wrong, those actually look great.
|
what was the sacrafice in mpg on the 20" wheels?
|
I installed some te37 rep on my girls outlander sports a lot lighter and seems to be more responsive with better mpg lol 18x9+15 hah
|
Unsprung weight savings is much, much more beneficial than sprung weight, so I'm not too surprised by that, even though the tires are wider

It would probably give it the stretch tire look. I'm actually running 245/40 yeah I know the stock is 225/55 lol . Got the tires because I'm hoping to get some lowering springs for a sport drop nothing to crazy
|
I'll post up some pics when I get home
