Josel you use the lancershop tripple a pillar right? It goes over the stock? ... that does not seem right so I went out and tried ... sure enough it fits.

Am i supposed to screw it on? It came with no hardware or instructions. Also the tweeter cut out is ugly as *****. and the stock one is non removable.. lame!

intersting, mine is gray to match the stock... i bought from lancershop and sure enough it fits over it. Ill have to buy my own screws since none came with it -

Also, my stock one basically fell off while driving, I had to go in there and mess around with it to get it to stay back on the tabs seem worse for wear, and the ...pointy thingy... that goes into the socket is stripped .

Is it normal to have wires behind the A pillar? there are 2, not sure what they are for, never been back there.

Oops

bumped the wrong thread about my collision

Here is the update

Update,
Total medical bills was just under 4k
Was prescribed a traction machine i get to keep for when my back hurts again

Insurance offered me 2k. Seems like an insult to me, I think I am going to contact a lawyer.

anyone else get in a collision in their evo with minor/moderate damage to yourself? what was your payout from ins?

yikes, that sounds terrible. I personally haven't had to deal with anything like this <knock on wood> so I don't have context.

If its this one:

http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...cat=181&page=1

You have to take off the stock A-Pillar. You'll also have to remove the stock tweeter from the stock A-Pillar. My shop heated up the screws and thats how they got it to D/C. It has worked great for me for the past 4+ years.

If its this one, it does not screw into the stock A-Pillar. You will need two screws to screw it into place however. Hope this helps. On the wires question, do you have an aftermarket car-alarm? Could be those, mine was mounted there by the shop which did that install.
