VTR's 4th Annual Food Drive through November 16th
For those of you that don't know, VTR is having their 4th Annual Food Drive benefiting the Everett Volunteers of America Food Bank now through November 16th.
Their goal this year is 4,000 lbs of food, which we can easily exceed thanks to a new deal VoA has shared. They are able to buy 6 lbs. of food for every $1.
To entice more people to contribute, VTR has also made this a Forum competition of who can bring in the most food.
After the kickoff BBQ on Oct. 13th, the standings were as follows:
- Subaru: 707 lbs
- LX: 133 lbs
- Evo: 97 lbs
- Camaro: 84 lbs
Total - 1021 lbs
The latest update as of Nov. 3rd:
- Subaru: 1570 lbs
- LX: 1026 lbs
- Evo: 913 lbs
- Camaro: 144 lbs
Total - 3,653
It would be really nice to finally get the EvoM name on the plaque. To do that, we'd end up exceeding the goal and that would be even better. We have gotten crushed by the LX and Subaru forums every year.
We can do this people! Just hand over some cash money!

4265 lbs!
We are excited to announce that we have exceeded our goal for our food drive and we still have 10 more days to go! Today Ruth came in and dropped enough cash to get an additional 600 lbs for Evo! Thanks Ruth!
Currently we are at 4265 lbs. The breakdown is:
Subaru 1570
Evo 1525
LX 1026
Camaro 144
To keep things moving and to ensure that we collect the most food/pounds possible while not making this about the biggest paycheck, we will stop posting the breakdown by forum after Wed. Nov. 14th. We will stop taking collections at 3 p.m. Nov. 16th as we need time to do a final weigh-in for any last minute donations and we have to get everything loaded and down to the VOA by 4.
Given the momentum that we currently have we are really confident that we can hit 5000 lbs this year! Talk about big bragging rights! Thank you!!!!

Not sure where all the standing are now, but we were at 1,525, and we got $53 bucks from people last night. So we should be at 1,843 when Angie and I bring that by tonight.

4800 lbs!
We are just blowing away the amount we have raised in past years. Evo's have now pulled into the lead bringing the total donations to 4800. Breakdown is:
Evo 1843

Holy crappity crap! Evo just skyrocketed to 3043! John "Evo 9" just came in and said he doesn't have a truck so he can't go to the store and load up with tons of food so he gave $200 in cold hard cash! WOW! 
That definitely crushes the weekend goal of hitting 5,000 lbs because now the total is 6,000! Evo can definitely take the title this year if this type of momentum holds!!
