Hey everyone, I'm getting my Evo 6 TME ready for paint and a tune, unfortunately I have a sniffer test due before I can get the car legally driving. Wanted to see if anyone had a spare or currently unused catalytic converter. I'm just trying to pass the test, so if you don't want to sell it maybe I could borrow it for some $$$, or a few cans of Surge?

Anyhow, let me know. You would help fix a very special project car

Is this something specific to an converted car? WA doesn't do sniffer tests for regular emissions testing. I might have a Ultimate Racing HFC still lying around that I could let go for like $40

Last time I went through they did the sniffer, as my car is technically an early 98 model. This was, however, about 4 years ago.

If it's OBDII they will just hook up to the ECU and that will be the end of it.

I have an OEM Evo 6 cat. A bit rusty but should still work fine. How about $20 + shipping? Or you can pick it up in Port Angeles, WA.
