Recommended shops in Portland area

I just moved up to the Portland, OR area. Can anyone recommend some good places to take my Evo for maintenance/upgrades/tuning?

Thanks

English Racing should fit the bill.

3rd for English Racing. They're right across the river in Washington. Like 15-20 minutes from the airport.

Just curious, but is there any option besides English Racing in this neighborhood?

English Racing is probably the best Evo shop in the nation. If you don't want to go to them I would try Cobb or PRE Racing.

I'm not sure why you'd want another option when they're right there...

Always good to have options. Whether you are buying a hamburger, a bathroom remodel, or automotive service, when there is only one provider, prices start going up. It's basic economics.

English Racing's prices are not at all unreasonable, they have plenty of competition from shops that hack **** up and have a bad reputation yet people still go there. So while your economic theory is great, you should really just take the car to ER and make sure things get done correctly.

Automotive service done incorrectly can cost thousands on the back end when you only saved $100 on the front end.
