Great! Now you're talkin'. What else do you have access to - which pads and/or polishes?

In the mean time, surf Youtube for PC tutorials. There are many.

so, I have no clue what I am doing, got the letters off, and it left like 1/8" raised of sticky foam..... hit that hard with a pressure washer coin op place, for 10 minutes, and got it down pretty far, it is still raised, but not sure where to proceed from here to not screw anything up.....

this in my 03 ES

I've had this issue as well, ended up putting the badges back on.

Goo Gone or brake cleaner. Then you'll need to polish/wax the panel.

Man thats an eyesore, but not as bad as the micro scratches I put into my paint trying to removed the badges. I totally overlooked polishing. I'm worried myself to try at wetsanding (on reasonably well taken care of OEM paint). I waxed the area thinking it would go away, nope. Will have to try that, polishing. To youtube!
