Ozone Generator?

Hi Everyone,

I'm sorry if this topic was discussed, I searched and it didn't come up.
I'm asking this question to someone that has first hand knowledge in using a Ozone Generator, or if someone had their car treated with an Ozone Generator.

Would you recommend using one to remove nicotine odor from inside my EVO?

Which ones would you recommend too, corona, UV?
They sell them online from $50, also rental commercial ones for $24 a day. Theirs a rental place not to far from my house too.
Thanks for the reply!

I can't tell you if that will work to remove cigarette odor. But I know Ozone breaks down rubber.

I ordered and received the corona generator.
$118 shipped Amazon prime.

So before I used it, I asked my daughter to go and smell the inside of my EVO.
She said it smelled like nicotine bad.
I ran the machine with all three plates for 40 minutes.
My daughter said the smell is completely gone, she said it smells clean now!
Also I read it's not just for nicotine smell, you can use it on any type of odor.

I need to use an ozone generator not only for my Evo but also for my DD. The interior carpet and trim can only be cleaned to a certain degree. Older cars that were not built with removable filters can have bacteria and mold accumulate in hard to clean locations.

Using an ozone generator seems like the best option. An enclosed space like a car cabin would make an ozone generator effective in killing all bacterial pathogens. Just put it in the car and leave it on for the recommended amount of time. Then unplug it and let the ozone safely leak out until it has dissipated.

Ozone generators can also be rented out so if I didn't think it made any difference it's not a big waste of money.
