Winner of the April 2015 FCOTM!

Hello Everyone I've been a long time member of EvoM.

I wanted to share with you my obsession for the last 12 years. Ladies and Gents I introduce you to "Eva" my 2003 Evo 8 which I nicknamed Eva as April's Feature car of the month.

My Evo and the Chicago Skyline. This is a custom paint color named Quartz Gray.

Proper nose Chop with custom Grill and Evo 9 Mitsubishi emblem.

Car Goal:
Building this car was literally a dream of mine; ever since I was a child I've always wanted a race car as an adult. My goals where always to build a fast car but also be pretty enough to possibly be entered in car competitions. I finally completed this last goal at this years 2015 Tuner Galleria in Chicago by placing 3rd out of hundreds of cars.

Here is the trophy of that event.

I am the only owner of this car and never plan on ever selling it.

Thank you for all the help and friends I've made over the years, especially all my online buddies on EvoM whom without them my car would not be where it is today.

Humbly your friend.

Gilbert Garcia

Thank you Kind sir.. it's been a wonderful journey thus far.

Interesting fact:

Buying this car not only introduced me to my best friends today, but also introduced me to my now wife and side business. We also now have a son together; no joke.. buying this car changed the trajectory of my life in a big way. Think about that next time you buy a car at a dealership.

I have to give credit to Justin Rush a good friend of mine goes by the name Boltz. on here. He is such a crafty individual. I saw it on his car and asked him to do it on mine.. and for the record we are very good friends and he did it as a favor.. I don't think he wants to go into the business of it because of the PITA in doing it.

Damn. First off, amazing - AMAZING car. Talk about attention to detail. I have the same exact (almost - my caps are polished still) blacked out CCW LM20's on my IX RS.

What you said hit home though. My current girlfriend and I met in a parking lot simply due to the topic of our cars (she drives a WW '12 GSR). We're moving in together next weekend, and I see no stop to our relationship which was brought upon simply by these cars. Without that topic of conversation, we would have never spoken a word to one another. It's awesome to know someone had that same experience.

Best of luck to you and congratulations.
