That is correct.


Regarding the rear subframe, it is a 2g gsx rear sub frame. The Evo rear sub frame is not close enough in fitment to work.

It runs what it runs regardless of what records have been set in the past. Once the slicks go on and I lose 63 lbs off my drivetrain it'll definitely be up there with all the mid-low 10 second guys on stock turbos.

I was gonna run the 26x8.5x15 Hoosier drags but I totally forgot to check the section width before I ordered them (10.3") and the inside of the tire hits the rear hub arm. Instead, I'll be running 24.5x8.5x15 M&H racemaster drags which is a much more suited tire for my application anyway.

Only one Evo ever ran low 10's on a stock turbo, and it weighed around 2,4xx lbs. Your going to need at least another 3mph minimum to break 10's even with slicks. I hope you accomplish your goal, but it will take more then 120mph.

10's is possible with one more mph, but you've got a ways to go to get that 9.8 record. Good luck!

So putting on slicks should net me about a 1.5 60' which puts me at 11.175@120 right? :lol:

A '95 GSX is still an Eclipse even though its basically an Evo 3... or vice versa. ;)

Awesome car, We will see what happens at the track this Sunday. Hopefully we can get that 10 second pass. We have to beat those damn civics :D
