Right it obviously worked anyways. I don't see any reason not to have 100% as the default? No reason to NLTS unless you are WOT.

Well, the main reason is so that you can test to make sure it's working without having to be driving WOT. =)

For actually using it, I agree there's no real reason to change from 100.

Cossie the XML looks good just checked through it all. Knock sensor maps 2-12 are blue instead of black but they open up anyways. I don't recall if they were blue or black on the menu before or not but it shouldn't make a difference. Just mentioning it to be safe.

Agreed. You can always try going WOT at 2500 in 5th or so. Gives you enough time to react just incase it's not working. The way I test it (dunno if this is accurate or not) is to just see if Valet mode enables and if it does I see no reason why NLTS shouldn't all things being done properly. I did have mine set at 98% previously just incase I did accidentally lift a teeny bit or the TPS wasn't reading 100% for some reason.

tephra - any chance of incoporating mrfreds new front 02 sim as well for those who want to remove both sensors?

Thanks.

I plan on doing all of the versions (w/wo jdm map, direct boost, just 5.10, etc) by tomorrow evening and adding them to the wiki.

Also, I was just thinking if you are going to post up the definitons on the wiki, I think you should add some XML comments in the definitions to show what has been added for each patch. This should make things easier in the future.

I got "yelled at" last time I commented things out in the xml because map tracer (when/if it ever works) doesn't like them. I think I'll probably add them in and make a note about possible map tracer problems.

Gotta take the woman to see pineapple express tonight but I'll see if I can get some time before/after to get started.

Hey, this is the one you use to replace the 94170008 right?

BTW, just made a donation. I haven't used it yet, but I will! Thanks Tephra!

!

Sure is, I finally made to change from my 94170014 and the car seems to like this rom much better. granted, I've hacked up my old rom so many times that I probably messed up a few things that the new rom fixed:lol:

He always appreciates it! Don't forget how hard this stuff is for him to do to MULTIPLE roms guys. Gotta give the man his weight in gold from time to time, lol. Donation sent from me too.

I tried out 88590015 today and found that I could not adjust the NLTS TPS %, it just shows (...) I've made sure that I updated the xml properly but still no change.

Also I had previously been using V5 to eliminate my rear O2 CEL along with the resistor mod but when I switched to V5.10 I got a CEL for P0037 rear O2 heater circuit and there has been no change with the resistor.

Any suggestions?

JordanS4 Aug 11, 2008 02:59 PM

For the TPS %, either use the XML cossie posted for me, or deal with the fact that "..." = 100% default and you can't change it.
