<table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #1" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x7f121" scaling="Hex8"/>
<table name="IFMode 0x05 -> 0x23 #2" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x8ab11" scaling="Hex8"/>
<table name="DoMode 0x42 -> 0x52" category="Misc" type="1D" address="0x8ab16" scaling="Hex16"/>

Thanks!

it is the same process, but the xml will be entered into 52680022 unless that inherits from 52680015.

make SURE the before value matches before you change it. if it does not match STOP and ask for the new definitions.

so for #1 when you open it the value should be '05' if it is not stop and ask. the same goes for the other 2 'before' values.

Thanks for the answer.
Pratically, the 52680022.xml file is created starting from the 52680020.xml, so at the end all inherit from 52680015: that's why I entered the xml in the 52680015 as usual. And, doing in this way, all the 3 "before" values are correct.
So, I think it should be ok.

No answers ?

I guess no one has a clue.

You just need to copy the 55570005/6 xml into your 55570005/6.xml file..

then those entries should show up in ecuflash

Anyway to solve it?

Hi guys, My Internal ID: 52690122 inherits from 5269022 then down to 52680015 and my 52680015 already has the code. The problem I ran into my before is not 0x05. I searched this thread for my 52690122 but was not successful. I already locked attempting to change the mode without "05" before this basically bricked my ecu :crap: I did successfully bench recovered it though {thumbup}

Thanks for the help.

if your running a tephraxmod then its already done for you :)

was the before 0x23 ?

gsxwingz Nov 10, 2010 11:27 PM

Thanks for the quick reply.. I am running TephraV1. Only the before on #1 was 0x23 and the other two are not.. #2 = 0x01 and #3 = 0x6210.

tephra Nov 11, 2010 02:52 PM

you need to use the 52690019 code, not 52680015.. :)

gsxwingz Nov 15, 2010 11:30 AM

Got it.. that works Tephra.. Thank you sir :cool:

I have added the xml code but i cant see it in EcuFlash? My Romid is 53040007, i have added the code only to Inherits: evo10base map. Do i need to add it to 53040007 as well?
I have tried reopening ecuflash.

EDIT: i have added code to both evo10base and 53040007 roms and still no options in ecuflash
