Bringing it back. Looked through this thread but didnt see these. Anyone have the scaling and latencies for fic 1650 high impedance. Pump gas evo 9 turbo and bolt ons.

Hey thx man. Two people posted their settings on that thread and both were completely different lol

Are Fic 1800 low z as difficult to tune as everyone says ?

Question for you guys. I just put some FIC 1220cc injectors in and got the scaling and latency pretty close. The odd thing is now I wont go over a 140 load. Before with the stock injectors, I would hit 280 load. Is this something to do with the injector scaling? Even though they are 1220cc, I have them scaled to 1080cc because that's where its somewhat happy with my old stock injector map. I just find this kinda odd...

For now, I just readjusted the scaling so that it peaks out at 145. Pretty much clones what it was doing before scaling the injectors but just with the new numbers. This still doesnt seem right to me. Any help would be great.

quick question, i have some pte 1200 in order to install them and work with my fuel map is that the correct latency and scaling for them? thanks

Question guys. Ive read this whole thing and it seems you need closed loop to rely on trims to scale injectors. My car is full time open loop now because of a lean take off issue in closed loop. Can i scle the new injectors in open loop? If so, what am i looking for if i cant rely of trims to tell me if im close?

Could someone possibly explain how it's possible that my STFT is positive but my LTFT are negative?

Could be a bunch of things. I would probably start with a boost leak test.

No one has advice for me?

So closed loop is looking for stoich. If you don't have that mechanism what you need to do is log your wideband along with load and rpm. then you adjust scalings to try and get your wideband to read stoich where the fuel table is calling for stoich. Basically you become the algorithm. Latency comp has more of an effect on idle then cruise, size more on cruise then idle. They both have an effect so this is where the tuning comes in. If you cant get consistent results you might need to mess with some other aspects of fueling. Your going to want to do this with the engine at operating temperature.

Ok so would it be beneficial to get the tune pretty good with the stock injectors and then try to match the tune with scaling and latency once I swap over the fic 1650?
