awesome that is good to hear hopefully i have the same luck. hopefully this setup will last me a long time. after i get this turbo i do not plan on upgrading it again. i do plan on building the motor and head when the time comes though. i just have to decide which displacement to go with. but that will hopefully be years down the line.

Andy once i get this thing done i'll have to take a trip to see you. i'll keep you posted.

hope to see you guys soon

So quick question, do I get a new manifold before the B, of get the B first? I am obviously going to both, but want to get some opinions...anyone?

^^^

I'd do both at the same time and save on install, unless of course you're gonna install it yourself in which case that doesn't matter.

The JM Fab manifold is really nice, I want to replace the full race on I have on there now with that one.

Is there any results for the 8 yet?

i would consider doing both if your budget will allow it. so that way you can get both the B and the manifold tuned together at the same time and not have to redo tuning later on.

i had thought about getting the manifold but my budget is stretched as it is lol plus i think i want to see what effects the ported stocker may have on it.

good stuff!

When do you anticipate a bbk vs bbkb compare on a solid foundation = plenty of fuel, etc...

I cant wait to see 1 of these bbkb's in its full glory!

Looking forward to seeing a bbk-b on e85!

Same here. BBK-B on my existing E-85 setup... cannot wait till the day I get 400+whp on a conservative Mustang dyno.

glad to hear and it seems most people I asked feel somewhat the same. dont want to be greedy but if I am making 330whp now with stock VIII turbo on E-85 (just exhaust and cams), what kind of gain can i realistilcally/conservatively expect?

vmrevo9 Aug 7, 2010 10:12 AM

i dont want to spread misinformation but it seems like VIII's with cams (depending on the cams) can make just as much as a IX. depending on your mods and the tune i can see a VIII come out with 400-415hp. but i'm no expert you may see more or less it will depend on alot of variables as well, i.e weather, mods, tune etc.
