All the new parts look great! Everything you do to that car is top notch! I wish you the best of luck and I know you'll get the car were you want it to be soon enough.

If I wasn't working every day I'd drive up to the shop to take a look at it. Thank you to you and all those involved for taking all the time to test and design new parts.

PS - LOL at the pic of Trent hahaha.

Damn. That is clean, simple, and logical. I'm sure it's going to WORK incredibly well too! Can't wait to see more results from you three combined.

Firstly, I hope things have improved with your mum's health Tom, best wishes to you & your family.

Thank you Tom, David & Indy, you guy's are awe inspiring & well respected down here in Oz. I'm blown away that you are testing the White with all of the new modifications, this is just a huge bonus to the Evo community world wild.

The workmanship is truly beautiful in this car......innovation at it's best. I'm very keen to see results of Indy's/Wilson version 0 as well, this maybe the perfect intake manifold to complement the White.

I have a huge suspicion that the new CF/Ali air intake & IM are going to be a massive success, well done to all you guy's that have made it a reality.

I wish you the best of luck with the tuning & like many, look forward to your results.

Thank you once again for your time.

Kind Regards to all of you.

Cheers Steve

OKIX, if you are the little elvish jockey, then your lil sis is tinker bell? Or what? :)

Nice ideas guys, it all looks to be coming together really cleanly. Very well thought-out and very well constructed, I have been drooling since I saw the pics. Let's see what that white can do! :)

The radiator/water pump setup is freaking amazing, why has no one else done this on more cars?
Q: so you left the stock water pump in place, just no belt hooked to it? Or deleted it and somehow kept the pulley on the outside...

David Buschur Jul 3, 2008 06:39 AM

We've done quite a few small radiators and electric water pumps in the past, my RS runs one. This one is unique/innovative because of the air box, dual pass design of the radiator, quick disconnects........hadn't been done before because Tom hadn't thought of it yet! haha

Yes, the water pump is in place, the belt has to be hooked up to it, it needs to be for the routing under the engine mount on that side.

scheides Jul 3, 2008 06:43 AM

Does it have the fluid wheel on the inside deleted somehow then? What is the purpose of the external pump if you have the stock one in place? Sorry for the Q's but I'm just really intrigued by this setup :)

Thanks Chris. We love doing the testing, the only downfall is it takes a lot of resources on Buschur Racing to get it done. If you don't believe me, just look at all of the tests that never come around. Yeah, I don't think Trent's seen this yet.

Honestly, some of the things that I wanted could be done, but it took some 'Trade secrets' on their part to do it. I asked for David to just do it and I didn't want to know, nor necessarily need to know. I'm not avoiding or holding back on the question, it's just that I didn't have to lie if I really knew how they did it. It's better to not know and say you don't, than to know, but have to lie about it. I was out in my trailer while that part was being done. Keeps it simple on my part. I know that they kept the stock water pump, but not sure how it works.

So Tony, its a no from you?

Just checkin;)

I was talkin to Indy lastnight about this and making it work with A/C cars... I have an idea that should work very nice! and will be a super clean install:)

David Buschur Jul 3, 2008 07:59 AM

I am not putting any further details out there about the water pump assembly. Everything is for sale, we make our living doing this stuff and giving out every detail on how to do it, the part numbers to source it and an instruction sheet is rather stupid on our part.

SloRice Jul 3, 2008 08:25 AM

Here come the leg humpers!!

Jeff...you get one, I'll get the other?!?!
