What turbo are you using in the BR475 kit? I did a few searches and couldn't find any concrete info on it. Is it GT32 based? Or a modified 20g? Like I said, no concrete info.... If you've driven the thing yet, at what rpm does it reach full boost?

The BR475 lists for $1060 with the oil line kit. I'm guessing the Evo kit will include the turbo, oil line, manifold, O2 housing and an ECU reflash.

2wd dyno right?
You're running a stand alone computer aswell. A friends car just dynoed at 302 all wheel hp (4wheel dyno) this weekend. He is running a stand alone computer, MAF delete, HKS turbo back exhaust and 20 psi on the "stock" turbo. No cams, no nos, no fmic,..that's it.

For those of us who don't have the cabbage to go with a stand alone engine computer - will the turbo kit 1) be compatible with the dynoflash/buschurflash only?
...If not a stand alone engine computer may be a better option for me, rather than a bigger turbo to make more power... A properly tuned car has many benefits over a unpredictable beast IMO.

ask your friend if he can share the map if that is tuned by EMS certified professionals.

hey there David, i now have the your stage 4 busher flash with all the mods, will i be able to drop in this kit without doing anything else or changing anything?

Guru Jan 28, 2004 09:02 PM

David always dynos in 2WD mode. I offered him to come up and dyno on our AWD dyno so he can get a more comparable number to the rest of the AWD dyno world. Dave's 2WD reads about 10-12% higher than my dyno on the EVO.

I have to say that looks very nice good work. {thumbup}

I have been down the road of headers before and not only are they terribly time consuming but sooner or later there is going to be a failure. That is not acceptable to me.

We also plan to be able to ship these turbo kits out as soon as we get an order. Unless you have someone that is going to sit at a welding bench and do nothing but fabricate headers there is no way to stay up on demand for a turbo kit that works and sells in large number.

As soon as we get the manifolds back from being cast we will be able to ship immediately.

Thanks again,

Looks great, DAvid!
On ething though: If an equal length tubular manifold is made properly, it will not break, and it will flow way more that the cast :) But the price will be higher as well :)

David-
will this work with a reflashed ECU?? when are you planning on doing that tuning if you have not already...im interested :mitsu:

ez76 Jan 28, 2004 09:30 PM

that is a fine looking kit and some meat on the torque curve for sure.

david you're running a higher rev limit, why not go 272/272 with this kit?
