Waxed it. I should buy a better wax, don't look as good as when used on a white or red car.

Removed the 3-gauge a-pillar unit and installed a new OEM pillar trim. I can finally use my sunvisor now!

Replaced leaking intake gasket finally. Checked for damage, cleaned the surfaces nice etc and put a new OE gasket in. And it leaks in the same spot. MF. I'm guessing its got a tiny warp to it (manifold punched through the firewall on the donor car lol).
I can't see any damage to either surface so I guess I'll try a new manifold later on. Skunk2 or AMS etc.

found an annoying coolant leak but have NO IDEA how to fix it. It's leaking right under the thermostat housing, where the water pipe connects to it. Is there even a gasket there that can be replaced??

superbovine Jun 19, 2013 06:15 PM

The thermostat housing has a gasket between it and the head. {thumbup}

Installed Perrin intake, didn't like how it put the bov close to manifold which I had to remove my cam sensor shield. :-(

starred at it for the 4th month straight and got on my bike and went to work. no motivation to put car together -_-

I resurfaced my rotors and pulled out the pads, sanded the pads to remove the glaze, cleaned all the brake dust off everything, put brake quiet stuff on the shims, greased all the metal on metal contact points. All this to get rid of the annoying brake noise and its still there... :crap: Its not as bad at low speed which is good for parking and stuff, but any kind other driving and they squeal like a stuck pig. {thumbdwn}
