Installated a boost gauge and a used aem analog wideband. My friend didn't know if it would work so we tested using an arm wideband that he knew works.

Then we found out some joker turned me up to about 35 psi boost. Turned back down.

Also friend found that I am apparently showing false knock up top. Rather than just lower knock sensitivity voltage we will listen with detcans first.

Finally, my afr is reading goofy when the spacer for my old 02 sensor is in place. Unfortunately, stripped out some threads on my friend's known good wideband while finding this out.

just found out that the previous owner swapped a JDM rear bumper and did not put the license plate lights on. good thing I noticed before getting pulled over. So, I bought these instead:

and installed it on my evo :) this should prevent me from getting tickets :D

Picked up my block, bought rod and main bearings, all the stuff to put it together other than pistons (still looking for 2.0 liter 85.5mm wiseco 1400 HD's *cough*) a while a go, just bought an FP HTA71 for maximum thrashing later when its all together!

damn sorry to hear man...the previous owner of mine did the exact same thing. According to the carfax, mine was repo'd a while back. I drove it for a few months before I collected a few parts and wanted them installed. While I was driving it, the car was hitting a fuel cut of sorts and very roughly idling. Sounded as if it had cams I was told. So my buddy/tuner found that one of the injectors, the rubber ring around it, was split in half. Fixed that. And then when he went to tune it after turbo back exhaust install, licp install, and boost gauge and wideband gauges, he said the first pull the boost flew up to 30 psi haha. Scared the hell out of him. So he reset everything and started from scratch. Now am currently at 320 awhp with turbo back exhaust and licp and only at about 17psi.

I have some medical issues that made driving it increasingly painful. I need something with an automatic. It basically only had about 5000 miles on it the past few years, with only 20000 since 2008. Let the car go with 70000 mileso on it.

I have a crown Victoria sport (think Mercury Marauder) but I'm considering a 2003 CLK55 AMG 5.7l (automatic yuck)
