today i did a full car wash and detail since we have been hit with rain here on the east coast for the past ten days literally....

took it to work :)

Cleaned the inside of the windshield. Read for the weekend!

Installed hotchkis rear sway bar, new tires ( stock size Z1 star spec), installed suspension ( PSS9, got one strut fixed under warranty) and finally installed my WRC style gear shift monitor/light ;)

Lemme know if you get bad rut-steer out of the stock size star specs. A local bud said his wandered all over the road and he took them off.

Ordered shorty antenna, solid under hood shifter bushings, CF timing cover, CF spark plug cover and CF hood strut kit. Ordering new tires and CBE for the car next week. I've owned it for nearly 4 years now and kept it totally stock...so I think its finally time to personalize it a bit. :lol:

just shaved the rear quarter panels. :D

first day i got it. i rolled off the lot

day after, drove "spiritedly" to burn the gas in the tank so i can put fresh gas in it, changed oil (always do when i get a new car since i dont know how long the oil has been sitting) got a car wash. smelled raw fuel smell..checked where its coming from...no avail

two days after, got my trans-case oil checked if its overfilled, it wasnt

two days later, bought an AEM intake and Cobb accessport

Two days of receiving shipment, installed the intake and then reflashed the ECU with AP

3 days after that, looked for more parts

3-4 days after that got TBE and UICP

2 days ago, installed said UICP

today, installed Swift SPEC-r springs and ordered LICP

next week, install TBE and reflash ECU to Stage 2

future...more parts addressing the fuel system and engine control/bushings....and a car wash...lots of it!




as for springs...how long is it before it sets? right now, the springs look like stockers...not much difference...except on cornering.

Me and my lady gave our new 2003 LY a wash, since the previous owner never seemed to clean it. What a jerk! I may have to post a pic of the door jambs!

Happened to me yesterday. Auto zone recharged it for me.

Etch primed a wheel, prepping for painting next week.

Installed Hallman MBC and throttle body seals. Car holds 20 psi stable now instead of all over, its nice to see a improvement after the work.

Ordered two front wheel bearings (hubs, damn those things are expensive!) and two strut mounts from mp.net. {thumbup}

installed stm clutch fork stop (weird it doesnt fit... had to remove nut)
takata harness installed :-D
put some gas in her... fat biotch drinks it like nothing.
