Awesome find. I'd definetly keep it though if everything checks out mechanically.

Thanks guys, feels good to finally have an Evo.

The engine seems to be in great shape. It was a little low on oil when I first got it (just barely under the bottom mark) so I topped it off right away. I've had it around my neighborhood a few times and it runs great. As far as I can tell, it's completely stock.

Thats awesome, buy it through an auction or personal sale?

Bought it through an insurance auction

Thanks! It runs and drives and has 90k on the clock.

It actually ended up being right around $7k for everything. Had to have it shipped from Montana which was $800 and there were some fees involved as well. Even still, I could easily part it out and make a profit, or I could fix it up to pre-crash condition and sell it for at least $12k. I'm really in no hurry to get rid of it though, I've always wanted an Evo :) It runs and drives great and the alignment is perfect!

Dammn I wish I would of found this too!! damn where did you find it at and how???

herndiggle Feb 4, 2011 09:00 PM

If any of you would seriously like more information on how I got the car, shoot me a PM. It's not a big secret or anything, you just gotta know where to look {thumbup}

Since you always wanted one--keep the car, fix it up to your desires and have one low cost rocket! You're almost there now!!
