All this talk about Evos being super forgiving and easy on track just sounds like opportunity to be fast with more rear spring and more front grip. But thats just me :P

Lol remind me of my 180sx with LS3 in it, talking about tail happy, wife ban RWD car after my second crashed on 240sx. I got TRE rear diff “max lock” I’m pretty excited about that cannot wait until it broke in. maybe adding stiffer springs and stiffer sway bar,

What do y'all lube your shifter cables with, if at all?
https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...00c7590b5b.jpg Under the hood and at the shifter base. I'm having a problem with the shifter not returning to center. Thinking of using CRC Power Lube whatever disperses water on the cable and at the trans. What bout where the shifter ball pivots in the plastic retainer? Also wondering if that scissor clip (24093) wearing out could be the culprit. WD40 is a solvent tho and not a lubricant  White lithium perhaps? |

I used to run wisefab in my 240sx those are nice, but I think “Dallas J” your look so much nicer, have you think about make some for 240sx, since Evo and 240sx are similar suspensions set up,

the thing i've noticed with my setup (on track) is, when the tires are cold, the evo is loose as hell - dangerously so. as soon as the tires are hot, the car pushes a lot. may need some changes in balance or something, not sure. autox, i dont really notice

My car pushes a ton with 10k/12k springs and a whiteline rear bar on the middle setting. I tried out an ACD tune and put the bar on full stiff and while it wasn't as bad it was also spooky at speed. At this point I figure it's just the nature of the beast and my love affair with rwd.
On the plus side the car is very easy to just jump in and drive even with 400whp. My 140whp NC is a handful in comparison. |

im not worried so much about the general tendency of the car as the stark difference between hwo the car behaves when tires are cold/hot. cold - wild oversteer; hot - mild understeer
