Another great day out at the track this week.
I broke my PB by 1.2 seconds with a few changes.
Whiteline 27mm rear bar helped with power on rotation, but didn't do anything for turn in or mid corner.

The biggest change was to the wheel alignment.
I added 10mm rear right height, front toe is 6mm out and rear toe is 3mm out.
Huge difference in vehicle rotation, it actually wants to turn now.

Fastest lap video here! (3min 41sec onwards)

Cheers Brad - yup 3mm each side. Measured using bars, rather than string.
So on the rim race it may be 2 to 2.5mm or so each side

Great job Ryan Pemberton (I don't recall his board name here...) on 4th taking a near 20y/o mitsubishi against a sea of GT3's, GT4 RS's, and Corvette Z06's.

Times right there in the mix with all of them.

haha yeah. I think he's surprised I'm "up to date" about his car and prior events. I'm hoping to pick up some moves from the evo folks here :P

im not there - but i wish I was to see bartley tear it up today!

that 17 hr drive is tough - it’s a full week off of work to hit it up

yup the Bartley's are getting it done. Our heat got ugly when several cars were dripping all sort of fluids and breaking stuff.
My car got retired early on...could be a spun bearing again. It was fine during test&tune :( . I jumped into a friend's car and I have no idea how to drive it lol, I cant wait to start my 13hr+ drive home and just look forward to next year

Oh man, I was wondering why you seemed to be struggling. That sucks to hear, such a bummer to break on the practice course at nats after a season of trouble free racing.

ViciousLSD Sep 8, 2023 09:54 AM

I actually got a new motor, 1kmi break in and tuned last week. It was stronger than my previous as tested during practice.then i got ratatat just at the 1st feathered launch of the 1st run. I thought it was the rear axle but its the motor :( a couple of guys were offering their GR86s but theyre on the.trailers already and not enough time. Anyway i got a "clunker" dbw with positrac and just trying not to be DFL.
I guess I'll join you next year @Dallas J
