Hey guys I noticed today that I get a kind of clicking sound, almost like there is something chugging along inside my engine bay.

I can't describe it but could the mitsubishi guys have put non-synthetic oil in my car which is causing it to make this noise? It clicks more when the engine is cold, then slows down once temps reach normal levels. It's not too loud, but it's definitely audible.

What's goin on.

Using OEM oil filters and the proper weight oil may reduce the noise...it will always be a little louder when the car's warming up. Nothing to worry about- as long as it is a tick-tick-tick-tick sound that varies frequency with engine speed.
