^^ If you are in the habit of leaving the car in gear, then it's unwise. However, for this remote starter to even work, the emergency brake must be applied - added safety feature. I also trained myself for 3 months to leave the car in neutral and apply the e-brake. :)

How about that Ver. 2 Piggy? How can it be for both? I take it you have a man. so how can it work for Auto?

The piggyback taps five wires on teh ECU - these five wires are the same required for both autos and manuals - the only difference is the location of the wires - hence why the boxes are the same and the installation instructions are different
