Do you make them yet? If not, how long does it take?

a reputable cf company will be making it. they make cf parts for race cars. anyways, this place will noit do sub-par work.

go ahead and put your name first and copy and paste.

I asked abou this yesterday;however, a 300-500 price range is kinda a big gap. Is there a way to get a closer estimate ?

Wizard_of_Evo Aug 27, 2004 12:57 PM

it says 300-350. 50 more for cf.

RogueSTi Aug 27, 2004 01:28 PM

I am interested, however without seeing YOUR part on a car (ie: fitment, quality, etc) I am hesitant to plunk down $400. The authentic DoLuck lip is around $550-$600 (which is steep) but I know it fits and looks great.

Suggestion: Show pics of the authentic lip next to your first prototype ON your Evo.

Add me to CF please. Thanks for starting this by the way.

$300-$350 shipped for the polyurethane, about $50 bux more for the CF.

plastic is good for bending and flexing. the carbon fiber one would be wet carbon, but the people doing the carbon fiber work can do dry carbon (which i prefer) which is a little more expensive than wet carbon.

thanx for clarifying that bro. but remember if you guys want the dry carbon instead of wet carbon it will cost a little extra than the wet carbon so let me know. the dry carbon is a matte finish, but the wet carbon has that clear gel coat.

hey, i'm doing this as a FAVOR for you guys since you guys want a replica. i DON'T have a prototype in hand. the company (i can't give out their name, if i do, they will get inundated with calls and they are doing this as a favor for me). hey if you want to shell out the money for the first lip, then by all means give me $2000 bucks to give to them for prep work and the mold. but i will tell you now, the company i am going through does carbon fiber pieces for the bmw ptg race cars. i have been modiying cars for 14 years now, and i wouldn't want a CHEAP A$$ LIP on my car. AND they wouldn't sell a part that doesn't have a good fit.

it's your choice. if you know that the authentic DO-LUCK lip looks and fits great, then get that one. i'm just offering an alternative.

if i don't get the 20 people then no lip! i'm not asking for any deposits now. only when the 20 people are reached will i then ask for deposits.
