Former DSM'ers...HELP PLEASE
 

Ok i have a friend of mine who is willing to give me his evo for 5k (hes paid off about 15k and is slightly modded)....k well to make the story short....i own a 2g Eclipse GS and am selling it on eBay as of now... (SORRY TO MODS IF THIS IS WRONG TO DO...ADVERTISING MY CAR FOR SALE OR WHAT)...but the reason why i ask for help here is because i signed up at this site a few months back because i tried getting the evo back then, but couldnt and now i have a chance. i just need to sell my car!!! please if anyone can help in some way by spreading the word around or to a friend or what not...i would REALLY appreciated. I love Evolution's and chose the evo over an sti because i am a mitsubishi fanatic. Once again, i apologize if it is wrong to do this. I am just asking for help where i can. thanks

From a non-turbo GS to a full-bore Evo VIII? And you said for 5k? Say what? Not sure 2g non-turbos have a market unless you try to convince some riceboys it can look like Fast & the Furious.

An ('03?) evo for 5K? That's some friend, make sure you at least buy him dinner first. :) Seriously though, at that price you could just take the eclipse to a dealer and take what they offer, you'd still be far ahead. Or are you saying you'll give him 5K and take over payments? If there's 15K left, that's still a pretty good deal. Good luck.
