Researched and purpose built, this might be one of the best engines evolutionm has ever seen. That picture with the rings on the pistons on the table rocks and it looks like head games has done well with your cylinder head.

Looking forward to a startup video!

Got a decent amount of work done today. Camshafts in and timed, front end of the motor is done. She's ready for AC and PS brackets, valvecover, and timing covers. Then I'll donthe manifolds and turbo, then I'm just waiting on a new oil pan from Chad.

I like to drive my car year round. Can't do that here without AC.

Still waiting on the pan. Should have it next week, and I have fire up goal set for sunday 8/19. Which will be easily attainable if I have the pan at some point next week. I haven't put the manifolds on yet as I don't have big enough bags to adequately cover/wrap the engine with them on, and I don't want "stuff" finding it's way into the motor since there's no pan on it. So the only "update" from the above pic's is that I put the valve cover, AC/PS brackets, and oil filter housing on yesterday...lol. Nothing really picture worthy.

I know that feeling, it's annoying as hell. When it happened to me, I started visiting parts of the car that were going to need TLC in the near future and fixed those parts. You start to go crazy and spend money for no reason

Someone told me that when you install new exhuast studs they need RTV on them to prevent oil leaks. I thought it was only for a couple specific ones. Did you RTV all your exhaust studs when installing them?

I haven't changed them yet. But you are correct. 3 or 4 (the two big ones, and one or 2 small ones) of them go through to the oil drain back ports and need silicone or high temp thread sealant.
