Crowns EVO RS Build time. I just want to go fast.

Bored so figured i'd start making a little build thread.

first got it and put suspension on it.

Story beginning.
I bought the car from original owner in Minnesota, I saw it on craigslist and next day went to go get it. Being a one owner and a RS I just thought I needed it. When I got it, it had a evo ix turbo, hks 272 cams, tanabe exhaust, buschur street fmic, tuned on e85 and that was pretty much it with the normal maint done. So I got bored with it and put a FP Black on it with gsc S2 cams, map ud valvesprings and ets exhaust, tuned it on speed density and put double pumper in it with 1650 injectors. Made 598whp on a superflow and pretty much the same on virtual dyno.
I ran 10.88 on street tires and got bored again. So decided to build a engine and put some more power to it and the exedy twin finally gave out.

Here's dyno graph with the black airfuel I had rich. I ran out of time on the dyno had to get home and I fixed it later at the track.

Now I ripped out everything making a mess...its organized don't worry.

Engine
Wiseco HD 1400 10.5 compression
Standard Manley Turbo tuff I beams
Stock Crank
ARP Main Studs
ARP L19 head studs
Cosworth headgasket 1.3mm
STM 650 Cams
Kiggly Race springs
Kiggly HLA
Ferrea 6000 series intake and exhaust valves
Ferrea Intake Guides
GSC Exhaust Guides
CROWN Porting and assembling

Havn't decided what intake manifold or throttle body to use

My friend that owns e-fabrications will be doing the manifold and all the fab work and we got a Billet t3 collector to accompany it. That should be getting done sometime in Jan I hope. Depends when I get the engine back in.

Drivetrain will remain stock for now besides a exedy tripple. Its lasted this far and im pretty confident I can keep it alive for a while. Was cutting 1.48 60fts when I put the slicks on and everything was smooth. See what happens.

Turbo I got is a Forced Performance Super94 and should crank out some good power and we'll see what happens at the track. Will be tuning on the stock ecu till I gather more funds. Will upgrade the sparktech cop once it can't keep up anymore.

Fuel system will be buschur dp with 450's and -8 feed -6 return . buschur fuel rail and fuel lab regulator.

It's not bad at all some normal surface stuff on the subframe and diff support and what not but the previous owner took really good care of it

Looks good so far!

My car came from Minnesota too. My underbody is pretty clean. Although I don't think the previous owner drove it too much in the winters.

buschur front cross bar came in. Just bought some 2150's and STM ported Skunk2 Intake Manifold and Full blown throttle body yesterday off a member. Everything should be going back in the car first week of january than off to e-fab for the turbo set up. Be forward facing with side exit exhaust.
