Evo X calipers on deck. Swapped over my RB pistons, seals, bleeders. Austin needed to borrow my Evo8 calipers so he forced my hand. Helped him get his head on and hes almost ready to get his engine back in his car. Also put subframe back on my the car. Ready to start putting my suspension and Dallas's uprights with eX brakes on. Excited!

I call them placebo braces. I've seen people market them for just about every sport compact car there is and I've never once seen someone post data proving that it's made any improvement whatsoever. It's always just claims of the car "feels better".
They don't actually tie into any suspension points on the car. As long as the suspension isn't moving from chassis flex then you're just adding weight to the car. Look at the factory strut bar, it's connected to where the strut meets the strut tower, and braced to the opposite strut tower as well as triangulated to the firewall, that's the reason why people are able to quantify performance improvements with strut bars and LCA tie bars on most macpherson strut suspensions.
