i havent had an issue with mitsuparts. my fender liners were special order as well, think it wound up taking like 10 business days to arrive.

Got an email, will have my order on Weds.

Was able to reinstall the front cross member. Had a hard time with the steering rack but was able to figure it out due to this thread:

So after 2 separate orders each with missing bolts from mitsubishiparts.net, I am still waiting on 5 remaining bolts I ordered but have not yet received. Also ordered EvoX fusible link to correctly do the electric for battery relocation. AND ordered WL rear swaybar mount since it does not appear my Perrin ones will work with the WL piece.

Smaller updates, got all 4 motor/trans mounts installed. This was much more difficult than I anticipated. It should be noted I am not a mechanic I'm an IT guy haha. Also all 4 knuckles cleaned and painted. ARP studs in all 4 hub/bearing assemblies.

Youre doing a pretty good job so far I see you didnt remove the drivers side motor mount studs & use the TS supplied bolts?

None were supplied, also its a 6speed so I believe this is among the differences in the kits.

Yea, the 5 speed is a bit more rectangular & came w/a nice set of allen bolts. Surprised the 6 speed didnt come w/the same

I suspect once I blow up the 6speed, I'll be converting to 5speed and will need a new trans mount lol

No more than 20 minutes per hour on track and the tranny will be fine

6-sp has a better ratio for tracks

Oh they will fit. Especially in the front. The rears ill probably have to relocate the fender bolt and maybe pull fender some more. But its documentented they fit. See page 1 of this thread.

Good luck making the wheels fit. It is doable but take your time and use a lot of heat on the rear fenders. Looks like you spaced out the front fenders. You buy a kit or make that yourself?

And you planning on rolling the fronts too? If so be very careful as the al is very brittle and will crack especially near where the tabs are that hold the fender liners.

What size spacer do you have for the front? I ended up with an 18mm which worked out well given my ride height suspension setup and alignment.

Relocating the rear bumper bolt is cake. But I can't stress enough that heat is your friend. Mine came out like ch*t on one side as I did it in a cold garage in the dead of winter and didnt use enough heat. Wish I could go back in time but le sigh...

Yea, I asked Muellerized about that once. John said it's like $2k in real body work pulling the f#ck out of the fender, then getting doing the body work and repaint to make it look nice again. They will fit, but you're either going to spend a lot, or hack up your 1/4 panels to do it. It's not a simple roll/pull/bumper bolt relocate.


I'm sure the front will be fine. I have 17x10+38 wheels with a 20mm spacer up front and 255/40r17 nt01's clear fine with -3* camber.
