I'm all about the DIY kinda builds. Arp mains are proven and you will not need a dry sump setup to spin it past 8k..you can invest that money elsewhere.

More of a starvation issue, you can modify the pan by adding capacity and baffles to help. Also English Racing makes a Oil pump gear designed to help as well.

Oil starvation as well as belt tension when a balance shaft delete has been done are what causes failures.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will look into the modified oil pan and see if that's something I can do or if I'll just buy one.
As for the "Twins" well those are definitely modified parts. High maintenance too just like a race car.
I'll post more pics this weekend.
