My 05 JDM IX from Kenya
Recently picked up a neglected JDM evo 9 gsr, thought I'd make a build thread to be help keep up with bringing her back to life
Here are some pictures from collection day:
So much curb rash
Sweet carbon trunk lip
Filthy engine bay
More carbon on the front, not to my taste though

Took the eyelids off, some idiot thought painting them while on the headlights was a good idea. There's a thin layer of silver paint on the edges.
after a good clean, good as new

As off now the whole interior has been stripped and i've got my hands on basically a whole new interior, plastics and that.
Here are some pictures of it before, I'll get one up with all the new parts when the car is ready.
I don't even know how you break this bit.
Absolutely ****ed drivers seat.
glued on tweeters and some bull**** wiring coming out the plastics.
cigarette holes in the drivers seat. there's one in the passenger seat and the rear bench too
for ****s sake

Completely stripped the car ready for a new color
Surprisingly clean considering the condition of the car
All this wiring has to come out. The car probably had a sound system at some point in its life
All the carbon was restored. Still not really a fan. Proabably going to sell these bits

So... big jump. The car is now painted Mercury grey pearl.
Really happy with the color, its like a mix of Apex silver and Graphite Grey
Needs more low. Coilovers soon and hopefully a new set of wheels, the stock ones are not the best.
Getting a Ralliart lip soon but the stock one will do for now.
