I think I used a hole in the tunnel, under the center console, where the radio is located. It's definitely not something you think about until it's installed and you are like, "Hey... where do I run these wires???

Haha ya and I was in a hurry to get it done when I first installed it. Told myself, I'll get to it tomorrow. Well tomorrow came 3 weeks later haha.

Everything logging wise is working perfect. Finally. I did a quick little log and it came back at about what I expected. The street I took the log on starts to go uphill so it's not perfect. But here we are at 20 psi tapering to 16 psi at redline. Afr is an 11.2 and tapers to a 11.5 by redline. Time to turn the boost up!

With the ACN 91 in SoCal, it'll be happier running 11.0 flat AFR's..

Thanks for the input. I'll add some more fuel when I turn the boost up. No knock counts now so it's somewhat happy for the time being.

A drop in afr it is! At least I'm not very far off. Should be a quick and easy fix.

I turned the boost up another 2 psi and it's going lean! Logging low 12 afr after 6000 rpm. Did some changes in the fuel map so we will see what it does tomorrow.

Got the tune done at the higher boost setting. Solid 10.9-11.1 afr through the entire pull. Ended up at 281hp and 251tq. Now to turn the boost up 2 more psi, adjust the tune again and call it a day.

Also, my lower heat exchanger pipe and cai should show up by the end of this week. Hoping to hit at least 325hp by the time I am done with all this (down pipe and high flow cat included).

For reference, I made 333whp with injectors, LICP, FMIC, Air filter, test pipe, MBC, and Greddy Easycams on 91oct.

So I probably wont hit 325whp then... I wont have cams or a bigger FMIC. Although you dont list a down pipe or an actual CAI so that may help me a hair. As long as I hit 300whp I will be happy....for now. Then time for a bigger turbo.

What power are the stock injectors good for?

Well, my cars always run a bit less power than others. I didn't list a DP because I assume nobody is on a stock exhaust these days but yep: 3" turbo back with a test pipe. The cams were super mild and maaaybe good for a few WHP. I'm not even sure if there is a CAI for Evos, to tell the truth. I just use OEM inlets with open filters or, with the 84mm comp cover on the turbo, I use the FP silicone intake. 300whp should be cake. Also, I have the OEM snorkel running to the top of the OEM airbox to force air down onto the filter.
For 91 octane, I take the injector cc and divide by two to get a safe WHP limit. I.E. I run 1050s which would make a really solid 500whp on pump gas. More if you don't mind a higher duty cycle. I think stock injectors are like 525cc or 550ish? So about 250whp I'd guess, before starting to push them....? Just my general rule of thumb. I'm sure some people are willing to push them quite a bit harder than I.

Quick search on the interweb of all true information says they are 560cc. It also says I should be good with them to around 340-350 whp. Is it true? Must be since its on the internet.

Ill log my injector duty cycle on the way home and see what it has to say. I just added more boost and fuel (should peak at 23-24 now, hopefully) so it will be a good thing to check.

Logging went bad on the way home. Laptop issues. All fixed now but no good logs to look at. Try again tomorrow.

On another note, I have had a slight clunk up in the front left. I accidentally figured out I could replicate the sound with the car off and wiggling the steering wheel. I had a buddy wiggle the wheel while I was under the car and it seems like it's coming from the steering rack, right where the tie rod connects to it. Are these never ending problems just part of the Evo life?

I would be fine replacing them if my car had 100k+ miles but it doesnt even have 60k on it. Maybe my car had a rough life before me? Don't know. Any upgraded sets I should look into?
