Never know how it was taken care of, unfortunately. A friend of mine had one with 50k and it was beat to Hell LOL.
I just used Moog (I think) from Rock Auto. RA is my go-to for basic stuff.

Ya RA is the best! I use them for all my Moog Jeep parts. I will see what they offer for the Evo.

Alright so more logging has been done. Injectors told me that they are not too thrilled right now. Sitting at 93% duty cycle at peak (7000-7500 rpm) but around 80% on average. And thats only going to get worse once I add another 2 psi and put on my other goodies. I think it will be fine though. We will see when the time comes. Hopefully I can find some time this weekend to finalize the tune.

Boost is up! Didn't do a full pull but it goes up to 22.82 psi and tapered down to 20 @ 6000 when I let off. Perfect. AFR is nearly perfect too. Stays between a 10.9 and 11.1 the whole time. Best part is that there is zero knock. That means I can bump the timing up and get some free power. Moving along good now. Also, intake and lower cooler pipe should be here on Monday.

What's your timing at? You'll likely find it doesn't want more than 9 or 10* at 7500.

I Agree with Sean.

The 4g63 historically doesn't need alot of timing to run. You won't find alot of power with high timing.

Less is more in the end. Leave yourself room for error.

Thanks for the input guys. Looks like I am at 9 degrees up top right now. I am more concerned about down low when boost kicks in. It goes down to 0 degrees. Here is my timing map. Comments are welcome, good or bad.

Successful weekend for me! Had a few minor things that have been bothering me on the Evo, so I took care of them. First up, paint the hood vent. The paint was flaking and showing silver.

I also cleaned the engine bay. It was dirty! All better now. Almost looks new again.

Thanks Soso. Its slowly getting there! Where you want to go cruise to? Me and my buddy (he has a S2000) were thinking of cruising up to Arrowhead, possibly this weekend. My parents have a house up there we could borrow for a few hours. Its a very fun drive and takes 30 min from my house to get up there so its not too far.

Not Evo related but my current engine build is almost done. Nothing fancy. Should put out 230 whp out of a NA 2.4L.
