Mounted the fenders and splash guards.
still need to replace my driver side headlight.
still need to mess with body lines /fitment on passenger side because it was hit on that side during previous ownership.

also found these scratches on the balance shaft but finger nail test I don’t feel anything. May replace I don’t know yet. Sorta concerns me a little and yes I’m keeping them, it’s a stock motor with bolt ons not revving to the moon.

Finished tear down of my old motor and I’m going to store it away for another project down the road... I have a brand new complete shortblock coming from Daytona Mitsubishi, so I can still enjoy the car and drive it around reliably. I have to take care of some personal/business things that will need a lot of my time and attention.

Didn’t do much today , getting ready for a small little get away for a few days. I did however get something done that’s been bothering me for a little while.

Cut some threads into this inlet nipple

Installed little brass hose barb fitting.

I was thinking of using 3m silicone on threads but i don’t think it will cause a leak at all and if it does I’ll put the 3m stuff on then.

Finally got around to assembling all the pieces back on to the trans and man I can’t wait to drive this car again.

got my new Oem shortblock in today and I couldn’t wait to open her up.
