Got more stuff done, I only need a gasket for turbo to mani, new battery, fluids, radiator and I think that’s it. I’m sure something dumb and small will pop up but she’s getting there. Need to bleed brakes/clutch,acd and power steering too I guess before I start it.

Turbo is on and torqued to spec, this time no stripped anything!! What a freakin relief as last time I did this , this is what caused a lot of problems when I retorqued it after heat cycling which I don’t think I’m going to do this time. Hoping to do the first start up this weekend as I still have a few small things left

Don't worry, you were meticulous with this build. Just triple check the mechanical timing marks prior to starting and oil pressure once it's started. If those two things are solid all the other problems that can happen are tiny comparably. Post a start up video if you can

I was going to use the gsc break in procedure with brand penn brake in oil.
This was my first build like this and it took me so long because I did SO much research and asked a lot of questions. Luckily I have this forum and all you guys plus Connor and crew at STM and Chad Block to help with all my questions etc.

Oh I plan on filming it haha..
disconnect crank trigger and spark plugs and crank till oil pressure builds up then let it rip?
I also need to drain fuel tank and get good fuel since it sat for 8 months

As mentioned first start will be fine as long as you were careful putting things together (which appears you were) and made sure timing is spot on. Oh and no need to disconnect coil packs, just unplug the crank angle sensor and it wont fire the injectors. Build oil pressure and let her rip!
