2013 Evo X MR Build quest for 11's

Picked up my X a few months back right when summer was ending. Had a ton of fun so far with it this winter it's a snow monster.

Anyways i installed most of the bolt on parts myself and with the help of some friends to save money on some weekends over winter.

Decided to go with STM for the work because I've heard such great things about them and love the work they do. They installed the catch can system, manifold, downpipe, and guages for me. Can't wait to hear it. We will be doing a tune on monday, I will be sure to get a good video and post the results.

As for the goodies so far:

ETS LICP
ETS 4" FMIC
Injen intake and UICP
HKS Hi-Power Catback
Speedciruit test pipe w cel fix
AMS Widemouth DP
MAP tubular manifold
STM Catch can and fittings
Rexspeed dash gauge mount
AEM Wideband and boost gauges
OEM Aluminum valve cover

Bit of a mix of parts but they should all function well together haha.

I plan on getting some new shoes for summer Probably enkei or rays engineering.

if anyone has any suggestions on what to upgrade next feel free to let me know!

Just picked up the new GReddy FV Evo X bolt on kit.
Must say i'm super impressed by the quality much better than the stocker and other's i have seen out there.

Only Con is the Japanese directions but that's to be expected JDM ftw!!!

The directions say to run VTA and to plug the intake which i haven't seen on any other models out there. i'll Definitely be recirculating the bov close to the oem position using a Greddy RZ adaptor i ordered to make it work hopefully...

Anyways here's some eye candy, the pictures just don't do it justice.

Decided to Sticker bomb the interior trim and the fuse cover/radiator cap.
Turned out great and have a few more things coming before spring! Should make an awesome Daily/Track car.

I plan on turning up the boost to 28. Should be right where i want it about 340-340 on the STM's Heartbreak Dyno.

You're going to need E85 at minimum to do that. Otherwise there is no chance you're going to pick up 40whp.

From what my tuner has told me I will be around there. Results will be posted before spring.

We have the same tuner....

Just sayin', you WILL need E85 to pick that up. Maybe that is what you're saying...?

I am not saying anything hahaha

This all from what Chris has told me. With a fuel system and e85 he said I could be around 370. As I said i will post the results.

Best of luck. No doubt Chris is the man for MR's, but it sounds like maybe you misunderstood him.

Unless you're planning to run 34+ PSI on the stock turbo to achieve that, be my guest.

(UPDATE)

The AYC control pump went due to NY's crappy winters. The new unit should be here this Friday, thankfully it was under warranty otherwise it would have been $1700 for just the pump

I've been busy with work and life so i haven't really had the time to work on the car.
But just tonight i modified the stock hood vents/heat shield to allow for better cooling to the manifold. Came out perfect :D

I plan on stripping most of the unnecessary weight out in the coming months to finish preparing for this season.

I've been pondering the idea of changing the front and rear differentials to the JDM Evo X RS 1.5/1 way model still doing research and will probably make a post. i've seen it done on the GSR but haven't seen any MR's do it they make the SST RS Models so i know it can be done...

Anyways wish everyone the best with their builds/season!!!

Glad to hear they covered your pump. Did they give you any issues with the modifications?
