who's going to pay the tax owed on the lease payoff? You do realize that you are on the hook to pay the tax on the balance. I have sold leased cars before, and there is nothing worse than the buyer having to pay double taxes.

Wow, I'm surprised to see this! You got such a deal on the car and the lease. I remember asking you a bunch of questions since I am a NFCU member (and thanks for all the info), then found out they stopped doing leases -lol. Damn, if it was any color other than red I would take it! Good luck though.

Yeah. I did get a great deal, and I really do love the car, and I'm not sold on getting rid of it yet. we'll see what happens. nobody is really serious about picking it up.

There's no other way to take over payments if your not a member of Navy Federal? I could definitely do $89 more a month for a fully loaded X over a GTS, and your local so that's a plus.
