2003 Evolution VIII GSR [MIVEC IX MR CRATE MOTOR SWAP]
Tarmac Black
88,100 on chassis
9,500 miles on the motor
OEM Wheels Powder Coated Matte Black w/ OEM Enkei Stickers
Re-painted Brembos with new Stickers
Full Mivec Swap with 9,000 miles on the IX MR long block, IX turbo, alternator, sensors, hoses, water pump, oil pump, belts, vacuum lines, injectors, manifolds, clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, throwout bearing, etc.
This was a 0 mile Evo IX MR crate motor. Not rebuilt!

Recent fender bender has allowed for the following:
-New Paint on Bumper, Fenders, and Hood
-Brand New Head Lamps
-Brand New Fans
-Brand New AC Condenser
All crash catalog parts (not used or aftermarket)
The Accident was purely cosmetic and the air bags did not deploy. All repairs were done at Custom Care Crafters here in ATX. Well known for there work on exotics and customs. Featured on Overhaulin when they did Lance Armstrong's GTO.
Bad: Power Sun Roof doesn’t open. Trunk is gutted.
Good: Car is super clean for the mileage. Motor has not been raced since the swap. Swap was done correctly without any corners cut. EVO IX TURBO with MIVEC FTW!!!

Just curious how does all the stuff match up when doing the mivec swap? Like ac lines and power steering and that kind of stuff. Very nice car I would be interested if you were closer?

All this thing needs is a good manual boost controller and a tune. I have logged it and it runs efficient enough to run a stock IX tune safely. Maybe I should tune it and ask for more money lol
But really, this way whoever gets it will know it hasn't been dogged on.
