engine is making some kind of humming/rattle noise...trying to diagnose but im not an expert with cars

Maybe I'm missing it, but what is the price on the car?? If you would like to PM me the price you're looking for, what this "rebuild kit" for the engine consists of, any other known problems/damage and any missing pieces that would be great. Thanks.

My guess is first owner traded stock 9 parts for 8 parts plus cash to make some money for something else. I can see absolutely no other reason to ditch the 9 interior for the non-leather 8 or the tails or the steering wheel.

ya last owner actually had the car repo'd according to records. he was trying to make money to keep the car. I got someone who is gonna be selling me all the actual evo IX interior so im trying to work that out so no one gets screwed out of a genuine evo IX. Rebuild kit is a AMS advanced rebuild kit. has everything accept a crankshaft. and the OEM gasket kit should cover all the misc stuff that needs swapped for a rebuild. I am sure you will need to take the block and head to a machine shop to have it resurfaced and all that jazz but like i said mostly just need to do labor to fix it.

ty oh and for anyone that wants to know the engine bay is gutted already just gotta thow it back together with new parts

yes still have the car.....motor/tranny is pulled. havent separated head from block yet. its sitting on an engine stand
