***********CAR SOLD to CARMAX 3/28/13***********
2008 Mitsu Evolution-X GSR 5-spd in Great Condition! (FYI: not willing to ship)
- Rally Red
- SSS Package (Rockford fosgate stereo, Premium Spoiler, Keyless, HID)
- 100% stock (even the air filter is OEM), still under warranty (purchased brand-new May-2009)
- almost new set of 4 Tires (less than 2,000 miles)
- clean title, never been in an accident, not even a visible ding, (garaged kept too!)
- never seen the track, never raced, never driven hard, never launched or dropped the clutch!
- I'm the original owner (IT guy), active evoM member since 2008
- average 20mpg, mostly highway/back-roads daily work commuter
- just reached 40K miles at the time of this posting
- all scheduled maintenance performed, 5K-mile oil change cycle Mobil-1/OEM filter only
- never brought in for repairs or warranty work, not one time this car had a problem
- FREE: Tactrix Cable ($200 value)

Reason for selling: Love the car, but no practical reason to keep it, just got a new EV (have 3 cars total, and can't let go of the minivan for utility)
Just had it assessed by our local CARMAX today:
I don't think they know the car has the SSS package, and the fact that the car comes with relatively new tires. I'm standing firm on my asking price. After 7 days, if this doesn't sell, I might just take CarMax's zero-risk/hassle-free offer. They're probably going to sell it at the least $26K+

Thanks... it's really hard to let go (wanted to keep this for at least 10 years lol), but I just don't drive this the way it's meant to be driven... it's really meant for someone who is into tuning, modding, etc. I'm just not that kind of guy.

Just had it assessed by our local CARMAX today (see pic &comment above)... Oil changed & car washed too.
remember guys, this is an all stock Evo... not too many used Xs out there that are fully stock and treated gently.

You still gotta pay tax when buying private as well.. When you report the amount you bought it for to the DMV they tax you. Of course you could lie but that's being dishonest and none of use are liars.
