FS: (CA-Modesto) 2005 EB SSL Evo8 - 53,xxx miles
Price: $17,000 - Looking at similar cars, I think I am well below the average price and in my opinion is a good deal.
Shipping: You can make arrangements and payment, I am willing to bring it drop it off close by (would prefer you pick up)
VIN: JA3AH86D55U045164
I am the original owner of this Evo, bought it in October of 2005 in Illinois. I moved to California about 3 years ago, got married, started a family, and thus it has come time to sell my Evo. I simply don't have any time to enjoy the car anymore and we have two other cars.
The car has 0 mechanical problems, has never been in an accident, has never been smoked in and has been garaged it's whole life. It is a 2005 SSL package, so it has leather interior, HID headlights, the Infiniti premium sound system, moonroof, ACD and 10.5 hotside. The car has used all Amsoil fluids (engine oil, transmission, diffs) for the last ~4-5 years.
The car has 53,xxx miles and has never been tracked. I baby the car in that regard and that fact that I am still on the stock clutch with no slippage attests to that fact, even when I was running 30+ psi at 400tw/400whp with my cut-out in place.
The car does have some typical comsetic blemishes for a car this age (dings/chips/scrathes/etc) that I will detail completely in pictures when I edit this post later after getting the car professionally detailed (hopefully within a week or so). The worst of this is just recently the carbon fiber on the spoiler started to discolor due to the heat here and there is some bubbling of the paint where the spoiler meets the trunk on the right side. I was debating on getting this fixed, but I will leave that to the new owner to decide. Also, one of the wheels (Volk CE28N) has some curb rash (that one hurt when I accidentally did it).
Over the years, I have swapped out the stock head unit for a CarPC, and just recently swapped that out for a Nexus 7 with Timur's USB ROM. This enables auto startup/shutdown with ignition and deep sleep while waiting for next start. I'll link to a couple videos showing how that works. To the buyer, I am willing to include the Nexus 7 with the car, but of course will have to setup the tablet to your Google account. Also, if you want me to swap back to the stock radio, I can do that as well. For now, the tablet controls the radio and gives all extras that a tablet would give you, such as GPS, bluetooth, Torque for live gauges (waiting for Hamish to release Evoscan), etc, etc.
I have personally tuned the car and currently it is running 96530006 with Tephramod V7 with DMA/Livemap. I also have a tuned SD ROM as well. I have several flavors of the ROM over the life of the Evo and can supply the stock ROM that cam with the car and several tuned ROMs of your choice. The car has been running E85 for the past 3-4 years and easily holds all the boost the stock turbo can produce. The Tephramod V7 is set up to be able to switch between pump and gas maps.
When moving to California, I took off the open air intake and 3" TBE with cutout. I now run the stock airbox (modded with side cut-out), 3" downpipe with wideband, and stock cat and cat-back. I actually like the car much better like this as it is stock quiet. But, to the buyer, I can supply an un-used 3" testpipe, a 3" hi-flow cat, a 3" QTP downpipe with DMH e-cutout and a 3" cat-back. You don't have to take any of it, but there if you want it.
Current mods on the car:
Apexi dry drop-in filter with modded stock airbox
Nisei LICP
3.5" ETS intercooler
GM AIT sensor located in upper IC pipe (used to log post IC temps and/or with the SD ROM)
Synapse DV (orginal style)
FIC Bluemax 1250cc injectors
GSC 272/264 cams (original GSC cams from years ago)
ARP head studs
Walbro 255 HP fuel pump
Omni 4 bar map sensor
3" downpipe with LC1 wideband
Innovate LC1 and XD16 gauges for wideband and boost
Innovate SSi4
Greddy Type-S EBC
Baer Eradispeed+ 2-piece front rotors
EBC red stuff break pads
Nexus 7 Android (replaces radio)
-Radio
-GPS
-Torque (waiting for Evoscan for Android)
-etc
relocated HVAC contols
The stock parts that are part of the sale (if you want them):
Stock wheels (with like new Blizzak winter tires)
Fuel pump
Injectors
MDP sensor
I am planning to get the car professionally detailed (cut/polish/wax etc) but wanted to get this thread started with some pics. So, bear with me for now, as I have a few minutes today (which is rare) so I jumped at the opportunity to take a few.
I did a quick rinse and vacuum, but bear with me as the car isn't fully cleaned and detailed yet:

Some tuning I was doing years ago...
When I first switched to E85 back in 2009:
No other mods other than E85. Both of these runs are through the stock cat-back. Opening the cut-out on 93 netted me another 30whp, IIRC.
Boost: 30psi to 22.5
Timing: 2* to 13* (initial run, still tuning)
AFR: 12.4 to 11.3 (initial run, still tuning)
Dynojet correction factor of 1.11 (uncorrected):
Final E85 tune with cut-out open/closed on a cold day in winter:

A quick video I took after taking the pics to show startup, how the tablet starts, how Torque looks, then pulling into my garage and shutting down, showing tablet shutdown.
You can also see the XD16 gauges for boost and AFR.
For now, Torque is using one of the cheap Bluetooth OBD dongles. So, it take 30s or so for it to initialize, but you get the idea. I'm waiting for Hamish to release Evoscan for Android, then you can have some nice realtime gauges of anything you wanted.
The tablet is hooked into the stock Infiniti amp via Bluetooth, using a Logitech Bluetooth receiver. I have it automatically connect when the tablet starts.
